Its mission is to provide the best in complex and specialized family-centred care; pioneer scientific and clinical advancements; share expertise; foster an academic environment that nurtures health-care professionals; and champion an accessible, comprehensive and sustainable child health system. SickKidsR is proud of its vision of Healthier Children: A Better World™.
Aligned with its strategic mission, our centre will pursue projects and initiatives that are broad-based, have broad benefit/appeal, and fall within the centre's four areas of focus: neurosciences, innovative research, integrated clinical and/or research programs and training, education and outreach.
Beyond scientific collaboration and theoretical development, our endeavor will remain to translate the experimental paradigms into innovative clinical investigation tools, for the benefit of patients worldwide.
