Coma (from Greek, meaning "deep sleep") is, in the broad sense, a state of unconsciousness from which a person cannot be awakened.

Electroencephalography (EEG) is the neurophysiological recording of the electrical activity of the brain.

ComaEEG.RO international research network was founded in 2011. Its primary mission is to bring together Romanian neuroscientists, clinicians and engineers dedicated to improving the neurophysiological monitoring of the brain. Our vision is to help advance the diagnosis, prognostic assessment and management of the unconscious patient.
